Clear the underwriting process
Our underwriters review your loan file carefully by cross-referencing your application information with other specific records. Our team is transparent through this process and will let you know any required conditions that need to be satisfied, and will give you a realistic timeframe. Questions through this time period? Loan Submission Checklist
To make our streamlined process flow even smoother, we’ve compiled a list of documents you will need to have organized and ready to submit. Many of these you may not need, but we just want to prepare you ahead of time in the event we request documents.
- Equus online application form completed
- Equus borrowers authorization
- Detailed rehab construction budget
- Equus declaration of non-owner occupancy
- Proof of liquidity reserves
- Executed sales contract
- Credit report dated less than 90 days
- Drivers license or equivalent
- Executed lease for the subject property if occupied
- HUD closing statement if the property was acquired in previous 90 days
- Entity certificates of formation - filed articles of incorporation
- Entity operating agreement
- Current corporate entity certificate of good standing
